Another Fun Saturday with Megan!

Today was a great day! It started out with skating with Megan and her Grandma. This was Megan's second time to go skating and she loved it, again! She still didn't want me to hold her hand or even Grandma's. She's definitely Miss Independent, as all 3 year olds are, I'm sure. This time, she ventured out into the arcade area (that's her Daddy coming out in her... Her Daddy was not a big fan of skating but was a big fan of video games...that's okay). She did the limbo and this time she got cut in the second round (last time she tied for First with 2 other kids).
After lunch, Brandon and I took Megan to her first movie! Grandma stayed home with Noah while he slept (since he chooses to sleep during the day instead of at night). So we went to see UP. The experience was not bad at all for her first movie. We did popcorn, of course. She loved that. She sat through the whole movie. She got ancy toward the middle and then settled in on my lap for what I thought was going to be a cozy little nap. She never fell asleep but she got pretty close. Sleep came in the car on the way home. I was so proud of her for her first movie. Given her high activity level by nature, I was sure we would be going potty 10 times and chasing her around the theatre. She laughed some when she heard the other kids laugh. She had her own little cup of popcorn. She was so proud of having her very own popcorn. My little girl is growing up. What a good girl, Megan.

It's wonderful and kind of sad all at the same time isn't it? I remember Gavin's first movie. It was The Incredibles. Seems like yesterday and now he's going into 2nd grade. Brook
