Good Morning "Ears"!

I had the best wake-up by my 3 year old, Megan.
Megan was born deaf and has bilateral Cochlear Implants (CI). She's doing very well and if you didn't see the magnets on her head, you would never know she was deaf. She speaks very clearly and hears most everything. We are truly blessed, thanks to MOOG school and technology of today and God for creating the people to do this.
Anyway, b/c Megan is still young, she wears a harness, which house her processors for her implants. (The behind-the-ear CI's are too big for her little head right now).
So, usually in the morning or after bath or anytime we need to put the CI's on (she wears this every waking moment except for bathtime or swimming), it's a "game" to put it on. She likes for us to chase her. Sometimes she just doesn't want it on.
But this morning as I was laying in bed trying to get my last little minute of sleep, I wake-up to my beautiful little girl plopping her CI harness on me. Then she went around to the end of the bed to climb up on her own like she does every morning. I LOVED IT!!!! She has never done this before. I've talked to parents at MOOG and other parents of deaf children and they don't share the same "game" or resistance with their child. I loved that maybe she's over the "game" or even better, that she WANTED to hear my voice:)
